THE LOST TRIBE
Set in modern Prague, THE LOST TRIBE is the story of EMMET HALEV, a Jew with a dark, secret past and great and terrible supernatural powers. For over fifty years, he has wandered the world searching for the meaning of his tortured, faithless existence. Now that he’s found it, he has returned to his mother’s native city to exorcise an Evil festering in the long shadows of its twisted, cobblestone streets. And, perhaps, to save his soul…
However, his road to ultimate redemption is blocked by THE FEUERKIND… Half-Jewish, half-Nazi offspring of the Holocaust who, like Emmet, were born cursed thanks to an occult S.S. experiment to imbue the next generation of Nazis with pure Aryan spirits via bizarre sexual ritual. Led by the sadistic LEIB, these spiritual parasites have survived the decades by stealing the bodies of the faithful over and over again, indulging their wanton physical desires and wreaking metaphysical havoc on unsuspecting communities across Europe.
But cosmic justice isn’t the only punishment awaiting these monsters. DETECTIVE RADKO JANACEK and DETECTIVE PAVEL DVORAK – two of the Prague P.D.’s best – are also hot on the Feuerkind’s trail. Only by accepting the impossible and teaming up with Emmet can they hope to catch these unrepentant killers and make them pay for their crimes in a court of law, as well as in the eyes of God.
