Gunpowder Girl (Jill Farmer)
Just turned 17 and estranged from her widowed father and brother. She lived a hard life in the Dakotas until she discovered her single talent: An uncanny skill with a pistol! She uses her weapon to commit crime, hoping to make enough money to buy some property in California.

Outlaw Squaw (Anuteh Iron Bear)
The Indian wars have destroyed her community and what's left of her family has been sent to the reservation. She broke away believing that the way to survive in a white man's world is with money. Her decision to go outlaw as made her an outcast with her people and cost her the love of her husband, Iron Bear.

Iron Bear- A still proud warrior in a shrinking Indian Nation. He hates
the white Man but cannot stand the dishonor his wife, Anuteh, brings upon his name. He is in a strange conflict at all sides, He loves his wife but hates that she is a thief. He is a warrior, but She fights the injustice of the West unlike many on the Reservation. Anuteh ran off many years ago. He must find her before Marshall Wagner does!
