I LOVED A ZOMBIE

In issue #1 of Comiculture, the talented Jessica Wolk-Stanley brought us the offbeat true love story, My Harlequin Romance. For our second issue, Jessica continues to spread the love with a decidedly different tale..!

I Loved A Zombie is a 2-part story starting in Comiculture #2.

MY HARLEQUIN ROMANCE

She was 12, redhaired, freckled, distressingly nearsighted and (for all the good it did her) Ready For Love.

A quarter-century later, still red of hair, freckled of face and short of sight, Jessica Wolk-Stanley wonders if maybe -- just maybe -- she overdosed on those stupid goddamned Harlequin Romances.

How else to explain the trip to Paris with the drop-dead gorgeous junkie? (Her treat, natch.)

Or the candlelit dinner with the guy who thought incest was OK? (As long as your sister is really, really cute.)

Or the ladylike stalking of Conan O'Brien? (Oh God, don't ask.)

My Harlequin Romance appears in Comiculture #1.
